[Loras is back in Highgarden for the first time in....well, a while. It's been a week since his Dragonstone raid and he's still a bit bruised. Broken ribs are no joke. But other than that, he escaped without any incident and now Dragonstone is in Tyrell hands. Funny, because Cersei Lannister is under the impression that it's in her hands. She doesn't know that all her people were sent back to King's Landing and all the ones left behind to hold the castle? Tyrell men. Loras loved every minute of that raiding and it's silent "Fuck you" to the Queen Bitch, even though he probably would've preferred a loud "fuck you". Willas was right, though. Now was not the time for that.

In any case, he's just arrived in Highgarden. He was given some leave after Dragonstone as a gesture of appreciation from King Tommen. It's good because he needs to talk to Willas. Mostly because he is 100% sure a certain someone is in an absolute state of panic right now. They hadn't exactly told him the plan but chances are good he's heard. Willas can deal with that. Loras steps into Willas' solar the minute he's back in the castle, taking every roundabout uncommon path he can think of, hoping to find his older brother inside]

[He's not entirely sure he believes Renly but at this point the discussion about exactly what took place on Dragonstone is inevitable. Personally, he isn't bothered about any of it. He's a knight. It all comes with the territory. Renly, however, has always seen things differently. Loras will just have to hope for the best. At any rate he at least knows Renly can't stay mad at him forever.

He decides to stall for a little bit longer and stretches up for another kiss, fingers moving to start removing Renly's doublet. When that's done he steps away from his lover a small bit and reaches up for the laces of his own doublet, starting to undo them. The garment falls to the floor when all of them are undone, revealing the angry looking bruise that is his entire left side. On the right, just below his ribs, is a bandage covering a puncture wound from a crossbow bolt. He got lucky in that it missed everything vital]

Before you say anything, it isn't as bad as it looks.

[Renly makes a soft sound of pleasure against his mouth, leaning down to meet the shorter man halfway, his hands roaming as Loras tries to remove his doublet and shirt. When he's bared from the waist up, his hands slide up, "help" Loras unlacing his doublet, but he pauses, brow creasing, when the fabric falls away from bruised, purpling skin and bandages.]

How is it not as bad as it looks? Seven hells, were you shot with a crossbow?

Because nothing important was damaged. I'll heal. [It kinda hurts, honestly, but he can deal with it] Yes. [No point lying about that part]

I'm fine, Renly. I'm alive and in one piece. That should be all that matters.
