Sappy reunion stuff
[Spontaneously one day, Margaery had decided that she would very much like to visit home. Tommen had been very understanding of this wish and granted her a fortnight to visit, not counting the time it took to travel from King's Landing to Highgarden. Cersei had been somewhat annoyed by this but really who cared about Cersei's feelings? Her party had set out two days later. Loras was, of course, the Kingsguard knight assigned to escort the Queen on her journey.
Though Margaery denied it, Loras knew this trip was more for him than it was for her. It had been quite some time since either of them had seen Highgarden but they both knew Loras missed it more than his sister. When they arrived home, Loras dutifully stuck by his sister's side until she dismissed him with a laugh.
"I'm just going to visit with mother, Loras. Surely I need no protection for that. Why don't you go see Willas?"
The implication in that suggestion was not lost on Loras. After a quick peck to her cheek he left Margaery's side, heading to find his oldest brother. Willas was out in his private section of the gardens. After some catching up, Willas directed Loras to his solar. There he found Renly, just as Willas said he would. Loras stepped inside the room, still wearing light armor and his Kingsguard cloak, carefully shutting the door behind him]
Willas said I'd find you here. [Margaery had, of course, made both Willas and their mother swear not to say a word to Renly about this plan. She wanted it to be a surprise]

There are half-formed plans for Renly to return to the world of the living some day, but it's a distant dream; not only is he not strong enough, the world isn't safe for that yet.
So Renly will help the roses rise, since they treat him as their family here, all the servants sworn to secrecy and keeping him safely ensconced away from malicious eyes. He's in Willas's solar, making changes to a letter Willas has written to another House, modifying the wording in the way that only someone so charming as he is can, when someone breezes into the room and closes the door. Renly doesn't look up at first, starting before he hears the voice,] Willas, I'm nearly finished-
[But that isn't Willas's voice. Renly looks up quickly, rises to his feet so fast he knocks the heavy carved chair over. Loras is a sight for sore eyes, and he's all dressed in white - Kingsguard white.]
Oh, Loras-

Has it been so long that you cannot tell the difference between me and my brothers? [His smile softens when Renly says his name and he takes a step closer to where the other man is seated] Hello, love. Surprised to see me?
no subject
Still, he can't even think of that when he looks at Loras, beautiful and shining in white and gold, like something out of a dream. The smile on Renly's face threatens to crack it right open.] No one told me you were coming. Your doing, I imagine.
You know I am surprised, but so delighted. [He closes the distance between them to wrap his arms tightly around Loras.]

Loras doesn't hesitate in returning the embrace, nuzzling at Renly's neck. He's grown a bit over the past few months but he's still shorter than Renly. He probably always will be] Have you missed me, then?
no subject
Always. Gods, you're a vision in that cloak. I always knew you would be.
no subject
Mm, well, you've always gone on about how good I look in white. [His arms tighten a bit around Renly's waist and he presses a kiss to the taller man's throat] How have you been, love? I trust Willas is good company?

So I've heard. He's been keeping me updated as best he can. [But there's nothing like seeing Renly face to face] Let me change and we can talk some more. I'm sick of this cloak.
no subject
His smile grows even warmer, and he reaches out to touch the edges of the white cloak with both hands, tugging Loras a little closer and leaning down to press a soft kiss to his lips.] Let us go to your rooms, and allow me.
no subject
[He returns the kiss, smiling against Renly's lips and wrapping his arms around the taller man's neck. He'd be lying if he said the idea of Renly helping him undress wasn't incredibly appealing to him] Mm, if you wish. I'm sure Willas would appreciate having his solar back, at the least.
no subject
Well, I was helping reword some of his letters. Mm, but I suspect he would at least rather we not reunite in here.
no subject
[He grins, taking one of Renly's hands and leading him out of the solar] Yes, you might be right there. Willas is tolerant of many of my antics but that might be pushing even him too far. Though I don't believe I've ever seen him properly angry about anything. [Which might be because Willas lacks the temper that Loras and even Margaery to an extent have. Garlan does too, though he's slightly easier to anger than Willas] He'll be an excellent Lord of Highgarden when father passes.
no subject
Willas isn't the type to anger, I think, though you are right, he's very clever. His wits and my charm have proven to be an unstoppable force these last months.
no subject
Willas is the least temperamental of all four of us, I think. All Seven Kingdoms should be afraid now that the two of you have joined forces.

[He chuckles a bit as he pushes open the door to Loras's rooms; the bed still hasn't been made from when Renly slept in it last night.] I think precisely the opposite, considering the end game is to remove the Lannisters from the throne.
no subject
You're a far better fate than Westeros deserves, believe me. [He notices the bed right away, turning to Renly with a raised eyebrow] You've been staying in here? I would have thought my family would have given you your own chambers by now.

Help me out of all this?
no subject
[A quiet laugh and his hands go to the clasp of Loras's cloak to undo it and push it gently off his shoulders.] Gladly.

I spent more time at court than you have thus far, love, believe me. I know just how much of a pit it is.
no subject
Just the small amount of time I've spent is enough. The people in that city are insufferable, none more so than the Lannisters. I'm only lucky in that most of my time is spent with Margaery.
no subject
I'm sorry you have to be there, love. I know all too well how terrible Lannisters are.
no subject
[Margaery is the only reason he's in King's Landing, after all] If she didn't need me I would much rather be here with you. [If he had the choice he would never leave Renly's side] I'm glad my family has been kind to you, though. Not that I expected anything less.
no subject
They're wonderful. I miss you when you're away, always, but I'm safe here, and happy. Thanks to you.
